Gifts in Kind

We are temporarily stopping in-kind donations with the exception of diapers, wipes and formula. We will resume donation drop off on September 9th. Thank uou for your patience and for supporting Genesis!

We have a continous need of:

Diapers (all sizes) Baby wipes, Infant formula. Due to current storage capacity and inventory management needs, we are focusing exclusively on essential items to best serve pregnant mothers, babies, and families who rely on our support. We are deeply grateful for the continued generosity of our community. Your donations make an immediate and meaningful impact.

Baby Gear

  • Strollers (in good condition, with all parts)
  • Pack ’n Plays / Play yards
  • Highchairs
  • Bouncers, swings, and bassinets (must meet current safety standards)
  • Car seats (brand new, in box, never used) 

We Cannot Accept:

  • Used car seats (for safety and liability reasons)

  • Recalled items or gear that does not meet current safety standards

  • Broken, incomplete, or heavily worn equipment

  • Cribs

Baby Essentials

  •  Diapers (all sizes, especially newborn and sizes 4–6)
  • Wipes
  • Baby formula (unopened, unexpired)
  • Baby food (unopened, unexpired) 
  • Bottles, pacifiers, and sippy cups (new only) 

household items

  • Hygiene products (shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, feminine hygiene)
  • Cleaning supplies (laundry detergent, disinfectant wipes, dish soap, etc.)
  • New pillows, comforters, and bedding sets
  • Kitchen essentials (pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware in good condition)

We Cannot Accept:

  • Open or used hygiene products

  • Expired cleaning or chemical items

  • Furniture or large appliances

  • Hazardous materials (paint, propane tanks, sharp objects)

Clothing

We Cannot Accept:

  • Opened or expired formula or baby food

  • Used bottles, nipples, or pacifiers

  • Homemade baby food

  • Partially used diaper packs

  • Infant clothing (Preemie-24 Months)— clean and gently used
  • Children’s clothing (Toddler size 2T to size 14) — clean and gently used
  • Maternity clothing
  • Shoes for children 
  • Coats and seasonal gear (hats, gloves, scarves, boots)

We Cannot Accept:

  • Clothing with stains, tears, odors, or pet hair

  • Used undergarments (unless new in original packaging)

  • Adult formalwear or business attire

  • Used pillows or heavily worn bedding

Toys

  • Educational toys and puzzles (with all pieces included)

  • Building sets and blocks (LEGO®, Mega Bloks, wooden blocks)

  • Dolls, action figures, and playsets

  • Pretend play items (dress-up clothes, play kitchens, tool benches, etc.)

  • Art and craft supplies (crayons, markers, coloring books, playdough, etc.)

  • Board games suitable for children and families

  • Stuffed animals (new only)

We Cannot Accept:

  • Used stuffed animals

  • Toy weapons (guns, knives, etc.)

  • Broken or incomplete toys and puzzles

  • Battery-operated toys without batteries or covers

  • Recalled or unsafe items

  • Outdated electronics or VHS/DVDs

Books

  • Board books for infants and toddlers

  • Picture books and early readers

  • Chapter books for children and preteens

  • Parenting and pregnancy books (recent publications preferred)

  • Educational children’s books

  • Storybooks that promote kindness, diversity, and positive values

We Cannot Accept:

  • Books with torn or missing pages

  • Outdated or damaged educational materials

  • Magazines, encyclopedias, or textbooks

  • Books with writing, stains, or odors

  • Adult novels or content not suitable for families
