Learn to Earn
While attending the free educational classes at The Learning Center at Genesis, clients can be earning “Baby Bucks” which can be used towards new or gently used baby care items, furniture or equipment. Mothers to be and expectant fathers are encouraged to attend and both can earn Baby Bucks for your baby.
This Learn to Earn program is simple. First, you must register while pregnant. You can register by visiting the Genesis Center or by calling 412-761-1845. Then you attend a series of free classes offered at The Learning Center. Click here to view the Class Calendar and learn how to register. The Brand New “Baby Bucks” Program
The brand new items include a crib, crib mattress and car seat. A Pac n Play can be substituted for the crib if desired. You will earn 15 Baby Bucks per class. You must complete all required classes before you can receive your items. For new baby items, such as the crib, crib mattress and car seat, the series of required classes are:
- Newborn Care 1
- Newborn Care 2
- Newborn Care 3
- CPR (infant or Adult, Child and Infant)
- First Aid
- Breastfeeding Class
- Plus 6 Elective Classes
Your Baby Bucks can also be used for clothing, diapers, or gently used furniture or equipment
